The head of the chemical engineering department visits the students of the department at the Training and Workshop Center

 

In light of the directives of the president of the University of Technology on the follow-up of the educational and training process of our students, the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar, visited the Training and Workshop Center on Tuesday 9/4/2019 to view the training programs for the students of the department. The head of the chemical engineering department was welcomed by the director of the training and workshop center (Asst. Prof. Dr. Haidar Abd Dahd). The visit was attended by Lect. Dr. Walaa Abdel Hadi, administrative deputy to the head of Chemical Engineering Department and Lect. Fadel Abbas Hammadi, supervisor of the students. The director of the center was praised the scientific supervisor of the students in our department (Lect. Fadel Abbas Hammadi) and his role in follow-up the students of the first stage through the registration of their absence and the notifications addressed to the students as well as their commitment to the weekly attendance. The importance of the Training and workshop Center in the University of Technology was discussed for its outstanding role in the training of the students of the University of Technology and from all the disciplines of the scientific and engineering departments where practical training is one of the most important elements in the university education system, especially in the field of engineering and technical. It aims to provide and mix scientific and practical experience that qualifies the graduates of our university to achieve professional success in making the future engineer so that they have a large and growing role in economic development in our dear Iraq. At the end of the visit, the head of the chemical engineering department commended the efforts exerted by the director of the training center and the division managers through their interest in the students, in addition to providing all the necessary supplies for them.
