The Department of Chemical Engineering held a free training course for the graduates of the department entitled cathodic protection from corrosion in oil equipment

Within the activities of the alumni follow-up unit in the Department of Chemical Engineering, a training course was held for the graduates of the department entitled cathodic protection from corrosion in oil equipment. The head of the chemical engineering department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar and graduates of the Department of Chemical Engineering were attended. The lectures were given by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Hamid and Lect. Bashir Ahmed on Thursday, 9-5-2019 at Dar Al- Salaam Hall. At the end of the training course, certificates of participation were distributed to the attendees wishing them continued creativity and success throughout their future lives.

The Head of the Chemical Engineering Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar held a meeting with the students of the fourth stage in the three branches on Thursday 16/5/2019 in the presence of the deputies of the head of the department and the heads of branches in order to discuss the preparations and scientific procedures for the evaluation exam (the ministerial examination) and the examinations in general. The head of the department wished our dear students the success and excellence in exams.

Participation of a delegation from the Department of Chemical Engineering in the exhibition of patents and graduation projects held by Al-Mustaqbal University College.

A delegation of faculty members included Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamed Rashid, Lect. Fadhel Hashem and a group of students of the Department of Chemical Engineering participated in the exhibition of patents and graduation projects held by Al-Mustaqbal University College. The participation included the presentation of posters of the graduation projects of the students of the Department of Chemical Engineering within the scientific events of the festival. At the end of the festival, the head of the participating delegation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamid Rashid, was honored with the Shield of Excellence, the Medal of Creativity and the Certificate of Appreciation. A number of the students from the department were also honored with the medals of creativity and certificates of appreciation as a result of admiration of the delegation's efforts to actively participate in the festival.
