The faculty members of the Department of Chemical Engineering elect two candidates for the membership of the Engineering Consulting Office at the University of Technology

In the presence of the Chairman of Chemical Engineering Department Dr.KhalidAjmi Sukkar and all faculty members, a meeting of the General Authority for faculty members was held in order to elect a candidate for the advisory office. This meeting took place in the hall of Dar Al-Salaam on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Dr.KhalidAjmi Sukkar started his talk by introducing congratulations to the faculty members for the beginning of the new academic year and wishing them continued success on the scientific and practical level

In this meeting, three candidates were elected to the Engineering Consulting Office as follows:

Asst. Prof. Dr. Jenan Abdul Karim

At the end of this meeting, the attendants introduced the congratulations to the elected faculty members.

Chairman of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Professor meets graduate students admitted for the academic year 2019-2020

On Sunday, September 15, 2019, the chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr.Khalid Azmi Sukkar met the admitted graduate students (Ph.D. and MSc) for the academic year 2019-2020 in the presence of faculty members of the Graduate Studies Committee. During this meeting, the students were welcomed and wishedan academic year full of success and excellence. It is worth mentioning that the Department of Chemical Engineering has prepared a wide scientific program in scientific disciplines that serve the needs of Iraq in the chemical and oil industries through graduate researches.

Chemical Engineering Department holds a training workshop on clarifying the updated performance evaluation form (06) for scientific departments

Under the activities of the Department of Chemical Engineering for the first semester of the academic year 2020/2019, the Department of Quality and University Performance held a training workshop for the faculty members on clarifying the updated evaluation form of the performance for scientific departments (06). This workshop was held at the hall of Dar Al-Salam on Sunday, September 15, 2019, and it was attended byChairman of the Chemical Engineering Department Dr.KhalidAjmi Sukkar and his assistants and heads of branches and a group of faculty members. The lecture was delivered by the Director of Quality Assurance, University Performance Dr. MahaAbdulkarim Mahmoud, and the Director of Quality in the chemical engineering department Dr. May Ali Alsaffar.
