           The head of the chemical engineering department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar continued the final examinations for the academic year 2018-2019, which took place on Sunday, 26 May 2019. Where, the head of the department, the heads of the branches, the deputies of the head of the department and the head of the examination committee inspected to the examinations, wishing all students excellence and successful service of our dear country.

 

 
 

          Within the activities of the Division of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation and in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education / University of Technology, the Department of Chemical Engineering held a workshop entitled "Analysis of questionnaire using statistical program SPSS for the period 12-16 / 5/2019. As the questionnaire is one of the most important methods of scientific research, the questionnaire is used to collect data related to the subject of research. A questionnaire is prepared, which contains a set of questions that the respondent (i.s. replying to something, especially a survey or questionnaire) should answer. Most experts consider the questionnaire to be one of the most popular tools used to gather information and data from people on the subject of research. The questionnaire is therefore used primarily for studies aimed at exploring facts about current practices, public opinion polls and individual trends. The course was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amer Aziz Abdul Rahman, Lect.Dr. Farah Talib, Lect.Dr.  May Ali Musallam and Lect Maher Aziz.

         In the presence of the head of the chemical engineering department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar, the deputies of the head of the department and the heads of the branches in addition to the staff of the department, the general meeting of the faculty members was held on Wednesday 22/5/2019 at Dar Al-Salaam Hall in regard to the conduct of final examinations. The head of the department stressed the need to adhere to the exam instructions and provide a suitable atmosphere for students.

The President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir opened the Water Pollution Treatment Laboratory of the branch of chemical engineering and environmental pollution in the annex building of the chemical engineering department in the presence of the university president deputy for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein, the university president deputy for administrative affairs Prof. Dr. Sami Abu Al-Nun Ajeel and the head of the chemical engineering department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar along with Faculty members and students of the department.

 

 

             The alumni Follow-up Unit in the Department of Chemical Engineering / University of Technology held a training course on (Health, Safety and Environment) at Dar Al- Salaam Hall on Wednesday 22/5/2019. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Haidar Jawad Kazem from the Middle Refineries Company. This course was attended by a group of graduates from the Chemical Engineering Department. At the end of the course they were given certificates of participation.
