The Chemical Engineering Department held a workshop on explanation the vocabularies of the electronic performance evaluation form for the academic year 2017-2018, where the lecture was delivered by the Director of the Division of Quality and Performance Evaluation; Lect. Dr. May Ali Al-Saffar. The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members from the department and from the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance on Wednesday 20/2/2019 at Dar Al-Salaam Hall.

Branch of Chemical Engineering and Oil Refining in the Department of Chemical Engineering was held the first meeting of the second semester in the presence of the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar, the deputies of the head of department and the Head of Branch Asst. Prof. Dr. Talib Mohammad Nayef on Wednesday 27/2/2019. Where it was stressed the need to make scientific efforts in order to achieve the objectives of the Supreme Department in the implementation of educational programs and the service of the oil industry to achieve the mission of the university in the service of the community. On the other hand, the pioneering role represented by all scientific branches in the department has been praised in the accomplishment of outstanding scientific achievements and wish all success and scientific progress.

The head of the chemical engineering department Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar and the scientific deputy of the head of department Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul Jabbar Abdul Razzaq, inspected the laboratories of the department on Monday 25/2/2019 where the practical side was emphasized in the educational process. On the other hand, it was emphasized to provide safety requirements in laboratories based on the directives of the university and the ministry by adopting the conditions of good laboratory safety. On this occasion, our students were encouraged to abide by the instructions of the laboratory and to encourage them to work diligently and perseverance.
