The Department of Chemical Engineering participates in a course on the mechanisms and foundations of the safe handling of chemical and biological materials.

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology participated in a course on mechanisms and foundations for the safe handling of chemical and biological materials, which was organized by the Office of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs / Chemical Safety and Security Division in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center for the period from 8-12/1/2023.

The participation included scientific lectures by Dr. Manal Afham, Chairman of the CBRN Committee in the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Prof. Wafaa Abdel Kadhim, Head of the CBRN Division, and Prof. Dr. Riyad Sadeq, CBRN University Committee Administrator. It included an explanation of the mechanisms of safe and proper dealing with chemical and biological materials by adhering to the application of safety and security rules.
