A Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering on obesity and arthritis diseases

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology organized a cultural lecture entitled (Obesity and Arthritis Diseases) on Thursday 1/12/2022. The lecture, which was delivered by the President of the Iraqi Federation of Sports Medicine, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Abdullah Shafiq, included a presentation of the nature of the relationship between obesity and arthritis diseases, the nature of the keto diet and its impact on human health and body functions in general. The lecture also included a detailed explanation of the prohibited and permitted foods used in the keto diet and the extent of their results in losing weight and alleviating arthritis diseases, whose risks are relatively increasing with obesity.
