An online workshop in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center

The Department of Chemical Engineering held an online workshop entitled Preparing nano-auxiliary agents and using them to interact with hydrogen removal from cyclohexanol and convert it into cyclohexanone by Dr. Allia Khudhair on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

During her workshop, she clarified that the copper-based catalysts were shown of industrial importance in the interactions of different hydrocarbons, especially in the synthesis of the creating the cyclohexane from the removal of hydrogen from the cyclohexane. The rapid deactivation of copper-based catalysts in operating conditions is an important problem in the industrial process.
