Department of Chemical Engineering forms a five-year committee to supervise Postgraduate students / Ph.D., where the doctoral student at research stage; Areej Delph Abbas was given a seminar regarding her research tagged: (Evaluation of Nano-Additives Effect on the Performance of Multiphase Flow System in Petroleum and Gas), which was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar, on Thursday 21-11-2019 inside Ibn Rushd Hall in Chemical Engineering Department-University of Technology in the presence of the scientific deputy of the head of department; Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul Jabbar – He is also in charge of running the presidency of the Department of Chemical Engineering – and the committee members, which was comprised of Prof. Dr. Thamer Jassim Mohammed, Prof. Dr.  Sawsan Abd Muslim, Prof. Dr. Amer Humaid, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah Salman and Asst. Prof. Dr. Zainab Yousif.
