Chemical Engineering Department was held within the cultural and scientific season of the first semester 2019-2020 a seminar by the doctoral student (Saja Mohsen Gabbar)

Within the activities of scientific and cultural activity of the first semester of the Department of Chemical Engineering for the academic year 2019-2020 doctoral student (Saja Mohsen Jabbar) gave a lecture entitled:

Application of Nanoporous Material in a Membrane Adsorption Reactor (MAR) as an Integral System for Removal of Pollutant from Wastewater

In the presence of Mr. Chairman of the Department of Chemical Engineering. Associated Prof. Dr. Khaled AjamiSukkar, heads of branches, academic staff, employees and students of masters and doctorate on Thursday, 10/9/2019.

Using nanomaterials in the membrane adsorption reactor (MAR) as an integrated system to remove contaminants from wastewater.

She explained that (adsorption systems - membranes) or so-called hybrid membranes as an integrated system of global interest, so the research aims to prepare and diagnose nanomaterials MCM-41)) in order to evaluate its activities as adsorbents to remove organic pollutants, especially dyes from wastewater using the process of adsorption system. The continuous system will then conduct membrane experiments and compare the results with the hybrid system.
