received BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology at 2003 and 2007 respectively, and completed a PhD in Reactor Engineering and catalyst at the University of Sheffield, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, in 2019 under the supervision of Senior Lecturer Dr. James McGregor. In September 2007 I was appointed as a University Assistant Lecturer at the University of Technology / Chemical Engineering Department. I was promoted to my present position of Lecturer in 2012. My research is concerned with catalytic engineering, in particular the positive role of coke in enhancing catalytic performance in reactions, using a combination of experimental and computational simulation tools.
